Secret Muse - Poem


Secret muse, your warmth and light. 
How strange, for something so small 
to give a bright flame that reaches 
further than its body. 
Your halo
memorizes me, 
capturing my eyes to flow with your will.
The strange attraction you have as I sit and watch, biding the time in the night. 
Then a fragrance melts in the air. 
The last touch of your hypnotic hand, which caresses my mind to unwind with your serenity. 
Is there a word for you, my light of tranquility? 

How strange, for something so small to be able to illuminate my senses, 
words, 
and soul.
