Review: The Waterfall Traveler

The Waterfall TravelerThe Waterfall Traveler by S.J. Lem
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I love this story! I’m not much of a Fantasy reader, but within the first chapter, I was taken to an imaginary world that felt real. The story is character driven, especially confronted with their own problems and demons. The protagonist, Ri, takes each dilemma realistically and is one of the reasons why I enjoyed the story. I don’t want to give any spoilers, but I do need to mention the hideous monsters that prey on the people. The story grows intense, definitely a page-turner, and its mature for adult readers (I don't care much for YA stories) which is another reason why I enjoyed it. I’m keeping my eye out for book 2.
