Needless to say, my first selection was my favorite 'The Hound of the Baskervilles' by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Check this out. You'll be quite delighted.

Is It Spring Yet?





It's freezing weather while I'm write this, and I want to remind myself Spring is just around the corner-- maybe also through the woods -- over the hill -- even beyond grandmother's house.  

So here goes. I'm getting ready for Spring.


Earth Day! Less is More
Earth Day is April 22nd, and one of the best way to save our planet it to go "Paperless"!
Yes, just think of all the clutter and garbage you can save when you select to pay those bills online. Many banks have online billing, and online statements.
Many companies also have online services where you can view & pay.
Not only will this help our environment, by preserving our forests but also it will help your security. Those garbage diggers won't find your account numbers or credit card statements.

Take a Hike

Today's gas prices are hiking everything including produce.
To help relieve the cost, check out local farmers, not only are you helping your community/state but the freshness and organic nature is sooooo much nicer. Local Harvest.org is a great website with info on what fruits are in season and which flowers are great to plant. My favorites are the ideas you can create with the dried herbs and flowers.
